Hollywood 'Through the Years"

Hollywood seems to have went backwards.  They stopped when Tim Burton got a simple Italian set designer, for Sweeney Todd.  They are going back to dig in the dirt.  You know, like those ghost stories?

Why is it going around that it's easier for humans who have non-White blood to have been "all that" and that they deserve nothing ... say a Generation XY person unless they seem like Tim Burton? or Andre Rieu?
